Florence, City of Dreams for the Art Lovers.

September 18, 2015

Florence is a city with roman origins located at the edge of the Arno river, rich in art and culture.
It’s well defined as an “open-air museum” and is the birthplace of famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Giotto, Dante Alighieri, Niccolò Machiavelli, Filippo Brunelleschi.

A weekend in Florence is an exciting journey for those who wants to experience the wonders and the artworks of Italy.
The main activities here are the handicraft industry and trade.

Florence is famous for its history. It’s a center of medieval european trade and finance, and one of the wealthiest city of any time.

It’s considered the birthplace of Renaissence and renowned as one of the most beautiful city in the world thanks to its numerous monuments and museum: The Duomo, Galleria degli Uffizi, Ponte vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Pitti.

For those who want to enjoy a good Tuscan cuisine my advice is the Trattoria Garibaldi, it’s a place where you can feel at home and you can find the original tuscan flavors and where the service is precise, friendly and informal.

I am very grateful for the kindness and hospitality of Hotel Number Nine.

It’s a boutique hotel in the heart of Florence that combines luxury with art and design:
customized services, comfort and a warm hospitality will make your stay in the city of Renaissance a most memorable experience.
